8 plays a week is a dynamic new show that gives unsigned bands the exposure they deserve and—if the audience deems worthy—the possibility of a live concert for the most popular bands. The audience votes to decide which 3 of the 8 bands featured will carry over to next week and have their music against 5 new bands vying for the top spots. If a band can hold the top spot for 3 consecutive weeks, YakkYakk.com and David Beach will host a special episode dedicated entirely to the winning
band. Including new songs, a band profile, and interviews with the members.
